Ted DiBiase returned from injury during the Smackdown tour of Asia.

Booker T announced Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio has been cancelled for Summerslam. WWE will hold a screening for their film The Day on Saturday. USO has a story on Eve's participation in NBC's Stars Earn Stripes reality series debuting on Monday. WWE released former Tough Enough contestant Ivelisse "Sofia Cortes" Vélez from her developmental deal. WWE provided a comment to TMZ on their reasons for releasing Abraham Washington. Abraham Washington continued his attack on WWE via Twitter over his release. WWE requested and received an extension until October to respond to James Papa's lawsuit against them over ownership of various theme music including Badstreet USA.

NWA Hollywood will hold a show in Huntington Park, CA on August 18, the day before the nearby Summerslam. Tara says WWE kept her out of the Chicago Comic Con. Kurt Angle probably won't be in WWE '13 despite his earlier claims.
